MS-50G Editor – End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of the application MS-50G Editor ("Application") provided by Nobuhito Muto ("Developer").

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

1. License Grant

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on Apple-branded devices in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

The Application is licensed, not sold.

The Application is available as a free download with a one-week free trial period during which all features are available. After the trial period, a one-time in-app purchase is required to unlock the patch transfer feature (sending patches to your pedal). Editing, browsing, and backup features remain free.

2. Third-Party Status

MS-50G Editor is a third-party application.

The Application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Zoom Corporation.

All trademarks and product names are the property of their respective owners.

Apple Inc. is not a party to this Agreement and bears no responsibility for the Application.

3. Supported Hardware and Firmware

The Application is designed exclusively for the Zoom MS-50G multi-effects processor running firmware version 3.10.

The Application does not support:

Use of the Application with unsupported devices or firmware versions is at the user's own risk and may result in unpredictable behavior.

4. Hardware Interaction

The Application communicates with external audio hardware using MIDI and SysEx commands.

Using the Application may:

The Application supports editing effect chains with 226 effect definitions, including selecting and replacing effect types within a patch.

The behavior of external hardware devices may be unpredictable.

5. Modified Firmware and Unsupported Configurations

The Developer does not support modified, unofficial, or custom firmware.

The Application may interact with devices running unofficial, modified, experimental, community, or reverse-engineered firmware, or unsupported hardware revisions with altered device memory structures.

Use of such configurations may result in:

The Developer assumes no responsibility or liability for any damages resulting from such use.

6. Risk of Equipment Damage

Use of the Application may result in:

Users acknowledge that audio equipment can generate dangerous sound levels.

The Developer shall not be liable for any hardware damage, equipment failure, or hearing injury resulting from the use of the Application.

7. Patch and Data Integrity

The Application may modify or overwrite patch data, device presets, effect chains, device configuration, and backup files. Data may be permanently lost.

Users are solely responsible for maintaining backups.

The Developer is not responsible for any data loss.

8. No Warranty

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties including but not limited to:

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits, equipment damage, or personal injury arising from the use of the Application.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, the Developer's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Application.

These services are governed by their respective policies and terms.

12. Future Features

The Application includes features such as QR code patch sharing, iCloud backup (Premium), and camera/photo library access for QR code scanning. Future versions may introduce additional features. Additional terms may apply to such services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Application, your modification of hardware or firmware, your misuse of audio equipment, or your violation of this Agreement.

14. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute with the Developer will be resolved individually. You waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitration, or representative proceedings.

15. Termination

The Developer may terminate this license if the user violates this Agreement. Upon termination, the user must stop using the Application and delete all copies.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

17. Jurisdiction

Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
